In 1988, Kenny Henny embarked on a journey from Kingston, Jamaica, to the United States in pursuit of opportunities and possibilities. As a passionate lover of Caribbean cuisine, specifically 'all things jerk,' Kenny's arrival in the US marked the beginning of an incredible venture. His zeal for authentic Caribbean flavors led to the establishment of Got Jerk! LLC, a Pennsylvania-based company committed to providing the finest and most authentic gourmet spices in the market.


His culinary skills didn't go unnoticed when he arrived in the US. Kenny's Harrisburg restaurant quickly gained popularity, thanks to its mouthwatering Hot n' Tasty sauce that became a neighborhood favorite. His jerk and curry flavors were simply irresistible, and people just couldn't get enough.

  • In 2013, entrepreneurs Ray Dixon and Ben Anderson spotted a market gap and collaborated with Kenny Henny to launch Got Jerk! Sauce, an authentic Caribbean product that quickly gained popularity. Capitalizing on Kenny's tried-and-tested recipes, the company established retail distribution with specialty and independent grocery stores across the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2016, Got Jerk! entered the foodservice industry through an exclusive contract with Sysco's North East wholesale network, further expanding its reach and influence in the culinary world.
